Mini Naadam
June 19th, 2:30 pm - 5:30 pm
Naadam is Mongolia’s most iconic festival, held each year in July. Nomads from across the country gather in Ulaanbaatarto take part in and watch traditional competitions such as horse racing, archery, and wrestling.
To fully immerse participants in Mongolian culture, the convention will feature live demonstrations by wrestlers, archers, and horse riders, offering a direct experience of these traditions.

Seminar

We will host panel discussions exploring the history and evolution of contortion over the past 50 years. Circus professionals will also share insights and practical guidance on how to begin a career and perform on the world’s most renowned stages as a contortionist or hand balancer.

Movie Screening

A curated film exploring the evolution of contortion over time, with a focus on the development of teaching methods across generations.
From tradition to contemporary practice, the screening offers context, perspective, and insight into the transformation of the discipline.

Handstand Competition
June 20th, 9:40 am - 10:40 am
A light-hearted and engaging way to kick off the convention and connect as a community.
Participants are invited to take part in fun challenges — from longest handstand holds to creative contortion push-ups — celebrating strength, control, and play.

Studios Performance
June 21st, 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm
Students from local studios take the stage to showcase their work and share their practice with the community.
A moment to celebrate dedication, progress, and the next generation of Mongolian contortion artists.

Open Workshops
June 20-21st, 9:00 am - 6:10 pm
International artists and teachers will lead a wide range of workshops over two days. Participants are free to attend as many sessions as they wish, exploring different approaches, styles, and areas of practice.
Some workshops are open to all levels, while others are designed for advanced practitioners, offering the opportunity to deepen techniques and learn directly from some of the world’s leading teachers.

Archery Workshop
